Prior to setting off on the North West’s trade delegation to Boston, Massachusetts this week, Seamus McAdams of i2 has been assisting businesses in their preparations for the visit with a number of preparatory workshops on Doing Business in Boston.

The delegation, which is being jointly led by the Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Cllr. Hilary McClintock, and Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council, Cllr. Terence Slowey, sees 17 businesses from Derry, Strabane and Donegal participate in the overseas trade mission with a view to expanding their business in the US market.

The mission will comprise of a week long programme of events and meetings culminating with attendance at the Golden Bridges conference on the 18 November.

The delegation will include the following businesses:GoWalkTalk, Gartan Technologies, Irish Gap Year,Irish Fish Canners, Qubizm, SLM Connect, Consilium Education,Oideas Gael, Hanna Hats,Sendmode, Kelsius, Kinnegar Brewing,Modern Democracy,Studio Donegal, O’Donnells Bakery, Randox, Donegal Socks and O’Neills Sportswear.
